The Capitol Dome
Recently I was lucky enough to go on my second tour of the Capitol Dome. Its an amazing experience and provides an unparalleled view of the city. Being at the true heart of the Capitol City allows one to see the L'Enfant Plan in a way that not too many get to see it. The tour also provides amazing views looking down the dome from several different vanted points. The detail present in the Apotheosis of Washington is incredible when one is standing directly below it.
