Art in the Round

Went on a quick visit t the Hirshhorn Museum yesterday and got to see three great exhibitions currently on display. "Over, Under, Next: Experiments in Mixed Media" was interesting. It encompassed work from a wide variety of artists from Braques to Damien Hirst. Jennie C. Jones' "Higher Resonance" included some beautiful minimalist pieces which also engaged the aural dimension. And Peter Coffin's "Here & There" was very true to its name, not only physically by conceptually as well. All three are definitely worth the trip!
