The iconic Duomo situated at the heart of Milan is one of the largest in Europe. With all roads in the area leading to the piazza, its majestic spires reach skyward from the main piazza, dwarfing the other buildings around it. I’ve been to Milan many times over the years, but never with enough time to really take in the beauty of this place.

I founds its interior less interesting than other cathedrals we visited, but the main even is its roof.

After taking the elevator to the top, wandering amongst the buttresses with views across Milan’s skyline cannot be missed.
