Perfect Alignment
Nearly two years ago, I was standing at the Capitol Reflecting Pool and turned around to see the shadow of the Capitol Dome cast on the Monument. Ever since that day, I’ve been watching the weather in hope of capturing the sun coming through the windows of the Capitol Dome and that shadow cast on the monument.
This weekend, the weather finally cooperated and gave me the moment I’ve been waiting for.
I’ve had these few days in my calendar in both the spring and fall for two years and every time, nature has conspired against me.
