A New Sunrise

As we transition from winter to spring and prepare to jump our clocks forward an hour, we’re reminded how connected we remain to the sun. No matter how much technology extends the day, we still react to rising and setting of the sun. Our inter clocks still seek to wake us in the morning and send us to sleep when the light of day fades.

Watching night transition to day has always fascinated me. Observing the intricacies of light overtaking the world empowers you for the day. It reminds you that every morning is a new opportunity. A new chance to make each day ours.

This morning’s sunrise was interesting. The low clouds blew across the sky in a way that didn’t match the calm serenity of the conditions on the ground. The ever-changing sky gave the sunrise a fascinating quality. Something that you couldn’t move your eyes from for fear that you would miss the moment.

Remember to treat life the way we treat sunrises. An opportunity for something new.
