The TWA Terminal

On the way back from a recent trip, I had a long layover at JFK and had the opportunity to spend some time in the TWA Hotel. The iconic Eero Saarinen building is one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever visited. The sculpted concrete forms punctuated by linear skylights soar above the ground. A reminder of the past that is simultaneously contemporary and historic.

This building has influenced so many other airport terminals that I’ve spent time in. It was a pleasure to take a break in this iconic structure.
