DC is a great place to live, work and play, you're constantly surrounded by history and can play witness to it first hand. It's worth noting that every so often days come along when one steps back and remembers those who came before him and who sacrificed greatly for a common dream shared by the greatest generation. Peace and Freedom. With the passing of the 70th anniversary of the Invasion of Normandy and the upcoming 70th anniversary of the end of world war two its worth taking a moment to remember both of my grandfathers and their generation's sacrifices so long ago.
