Foggy Nights In DC

Fog changes the city. It brings the world closer to you and removes distractions. It highlights the things you can’t see and changes the things you can.

There are few places in DC that epitomize this more than the Washington Monument. The lights paint the sky, shrouding the obelisk in a pyramid of light.

As the air cools, the moisture of the fog becomes clouds and reveals the movement of the air. Creating a unique scene that I’ve been chasing for years.
